In Their Own Voice is an online festival that celebrates stories from the female perspective. Emma Savok-Headington, a sixth grader at SRCSA, is playing one of The Graces, a trio of narrator/poets who appear between each of the four pieces. Emma wrote three of the poems that will be featured and created some digital art for the festival as well, which is featured here as a slideshow.
The show will be pre-recorded, and will be available for streaming on May 8, 9, 15, and 16 at 2pm as well as May 8, 14, and 15 at 8:30pm.
